Don't die fat.
Better yet, don't be fat at all (read the comments).

nnnuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrr

I feel like I wasted today by reading and doing crosswords all day. It's funny that I feel it today because a lot of my days consist of useless tasks.
Anyways, I stumbled on this blog awhile ago but never got the chance to really read some of the posts until today.
Life is meant to suck sometimes and it's amusing entertainment reading on what I might have to deal with later on in life.

Construction Canceled

I was signed up to volunteer at Habitat for Humanity today but when I checked my email this morning I found a note stating that construction was canceled. Since I had nothing else planned for the day, my father made me practice driving on the freeway for about an hour. I hate it when he makes me change lanes. He says I changes to quickly but when I don't change right when he says so he yells at me. Jeez! I have to fr3aking check to see if it's safe before I change! If you stop complaining about ever move I make maybe I would be a more decent driver!

TGFTT

Thank goodness for TV Thursday. Thursday has the best primetime TV. Three of my favorite shows are on tonight: "Survivor", "Ugly Betty" and "Grey's Anatomy." I'll have to watch "Ugly Betty" tomorrow online. The fierce Christine from Project Runway is going to be in tonight's episode!!! I remember the days when it use to be "TGIF" with "Boys Meet World" and "Sabrina." lol!
Before going to LLH today I went to the post office to fill out a "change of address" form and to mail in my readmission form. Yes, I going back to Davis in the fall. I don't want to risk not getting into a whole bunch of classes come autumn. I'm pretty sure if I shoot at taking classes at city I would have to beg in order to add all the classes I want to take. Registering for summer classes already has proved to be a pain. I might be a little late to get processed by Pass 1. If I can't get the schedule that I'm shooting for I think I might have to do a fifth year. Oh well. I know when I graduate I'll be ecstatic to get out of Davis.
My first session at "Art with Elders" was fun. I came at 1:15 and met with another volunteer. I was so confused on what to do because when the artist came with some patients he didn't say much. At first I thought one of the patients was the artist because he had that kind of allure. It was great listening to this patient's adventures. I loved his artwork too. I felt so retarded when he was getting ready to leave. I thought he was going to hug me but he was stretching out to shake my hand. So, I did this weird drawback and shake his left hand with my right hand thing. This other patients asked me to draw him! I told him it's been awhile since I've drawn but he insisted that I must be good. Of course the picture turned out nothing like him. It was a great experience though. I forgot to ask him what unit he was on. Hopefully, he'll come back next Thursday. He said he usually comes on Wednesdays though because he has OT on Thursdays. I should have went to E4 afterwards because the artist let me go early. I'll drop by Monday if G4's AT lets me off early.
I'm so glad I got through my first official week at LLH. It's a totally different atmosphere from other hospitals and I love it. I think I've only met a few patients that might snap at you, but overall everybody is really sweet.
