TGFTT

Thank goodness for TV Thursday. Thursday has the best primetime TV. Three of my favorite shows are on tonight: "Survivor", "Ugly Betty" and "Grey's Anatomy." I'll have to watch "Ugly Betty" tomorrow online. The fierce Christine from Project Runway is going to be in tonight's episode!!! I remember the days when it use to be "TGIF" with "Boys Meet World" and "Sabrina." lol!
Before going to LLH today I went to the post office to fill out a "change of address" form and to mail in my readmission form. Yes, I going back to Davis in the fall. I don't want to risk not getting into a whole bunch of classes come autumn. I'm pretty sure if I shoot at taking classes at city I would have to beg in order to add all the classes I want to take. Registering for summer classes already has proved to be a pain. I might be a little late to get processed by Pass 1. If I can't get the schedule that I'm shooting for I think I might have to do a fifth year. Oh well. I know when I graduate I'll be ecstatic to get out of Davis.
My first session at "Art with Elders" was fun. I came at 1:15 and met with another volunteer. I was so confused on what to do because when the artist came with some patients he didn't say much. At first I thought one of the patients was the artist because he had that kind of allure. It was great listening to this patient's adventures. I loved his artwork too. I felt so retarded when he was getting ready to leave. I thought he was going to hug me but he was stretching out to shake my hand. So, I did this weird drawback and shake his left hand with my right hand thing. This other patients asked me to draw him! I told him it's been awhile since I've drawn but he insisted that I must be good. Of course the picture turned out nothing like him. It was a great experience though. I forgot to ask him what unit he was on. Hopefully, he'll come back next Thursday. He said he usually comes on Wednesdays though because he has OT on Thursdays. I should have went to E4 afterwards because the artist let me go early. I'll drop by Monday if G4's AT lets me off early.
I'm so glad I got through my first official week at LLH. It's a totally different atmosphere from other hospitals and I love it. I think I've only met a few patients that might snap at you, but overall everybody is really sweet.
