Yesterday, the definition of fun was potluck picnic in a playground with close friends. I'm glad the weather worked out because the Sunset can be cold when it's cloudy or foggy.
In the morning, I wrapped my eggrolls and made my french fries. I was going to make potato wedges but that would have been too easy to cut. They turned out pretty. I think my eggrolls I didn't have enough veggies, but they turned out fine. Anyhoo, I drove up crazy hills to pick up Mary and Katrina. When we got to the playground, Steph and Sharon were already there. Some people kicked us off the table because they had the table "reserved." We ended up eating in the boat, which beats eating on a table anyday. I made people pale with my sunblock and we had delicious food! Even Bonny's melted Jelly was good. After hogging the boat from the kids for a good 1 1/2 hours, we migrated to the beach.

Since a few people had to leave after the beach, only a few ended up at Stones. Well, Sharon had to be there for work. Thanks for driving us, Connie! According to a magazine page Sharon was had, A&E was giving out free tshirts if we tried on a pair of jeans. Sharon got the tshirt, but when Bonny, Connie and I tried later on, they said they were running low on tshirts and would only be giving them out if we bought the jeans. I never shop at A&E because their clothes are too happy for my taste, but we all got pissed.
We ended up sitting at the foodcourt drinking Bonny's Icee and munching on Connie's Pringles and Katrina's chocolate baked goods. After walking Connie back to her car, Bonny, Katrina and I loitered around a few stores and then left. I ended up walking home the longer way, which led me close to Mary's street. LOL! I felt so gritty and sandy, but it was worth it.
Best of luck to those still in summer school or starting second session of summer school! We'll hang out again before fall quarter/semester! :)
