The past two days have been crazy good! History was made last night when Michael Phelps won his eighth Olympic gold...and I fell asleep!! AHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! I closed my eyes during a commercial and I woke up to the sound of track and field!! I watched the relay online this morning but it's not the same. oh well. I'm glad that I didn't miss the women's 50M Fly. Torres won silver by a loss of .01 sec!!!!! She still made history but it would have been nice if she won the gold.
Thursday night was awesome! Phelps won by .01 sec in the 100M Fly!! CCCCCRRRRRAAAZZZZZYYYYYY!!!! Adlington of Great Britain broke Sarah Evans' 1989 Record in the 800M Fly!!!!!!!!!! 1989!!!!!!!! I wonder how long it'll take to break Adlington's record or if she can break it in 2012.
I'm so glad that I'm getting into the pool this week.
